Introduction
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in partnership with the Colorado
Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC), is pleased to invite you to the Colorado PACE
Planning Webinar.

Description
PACE stands for Primary, Alternate, Contingency, Emergency. This course will introduce
participants to the purpose of a PACE Communications Plan and lay the foundation of knowledge
for building a comprehensive PACE program within their organization or jurisdiction.
The instructors will walk participants through an introduction to PACE Planning including key
factors involved such as planning, communications failures, trigger points for transitions to other
communications methods, and best practices when developing a PACE plan.
Participants will be provided with a PACE Plan template to assist in developing PACE within their
organization.

Participants
Course attendees should include public safety
personnel that are involved in the planning
and execution of emergency communications.
Likely candidates are emergency management
personnel, public safety communications
personnel, and agency technical and
operational staff responsible for continuing
agency mission essential functions.
